Barcelona is a very nice city. The course leads you a long a lot of great sites that the city is known for. I enjoyed being in a marathon that is not yet crowded like London, New York or Berlin but does have the feel of a big city marathon. I combined this race with a nice weekend in the city of Barcelona.

A good tip: rent a bike the days before to give your legs some rest while site seeing.
