De marathon van Rome is een wedstrijd over 42,195 km, die jaarlijks in Rome wordt gehouden.

IN THE NAME OF ABEBE BIKILA: On September the 10th 1960, Abebe Bikila won the Olympic Marathon barefoot. To commemorate this the 16th Maratona di Roma in 2010 will be dedicated to the Olympic champion. The medal all the finishers will be awarded, indeed, will recall Bikila and his exploits, along with many other surprises.
